About the Creator

Hi, I'm Tapiwa! Originally from Zimbabwe and now residing in Australia with my husband, Munashe. My journey began after high school in 2018, leading me to win a makeup competition with Flori Roberts Cosmetics Zimbabwe in 2020. I studied beauty at Elite School of Beauty Zimbabwe and launched Miss Tory Makeup and Miss Tory Cosmetics. In addition to running my businesses and a studio, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, set to graduate in 2025. My love for cooking has turned into another passion, where I create and share diverse recipes that blend Zimbabwean flavors with global cuisine. My adventures in beauty and cooking have inspired a vibrant social media presence, connecting me with an engaging community and influencers. I cherish the joy of creating and sharing, aiming to inspire others through my entrepreneurial and culinary ventures.

My husband believes in my gifts and talents so much. He is the greatest support behind everything I do and continues to encourage me in all that I do. The idea to create this recipe book dawned on us over a phone call during his ten-minute break while he was at work, and we were discussing the future.
Most of the recipes in this cookbook I was taught or were inspired by the women in my life especially my mum, and including my grandmother, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends. That I have developed into my own.
My father loves my cooking, he always got me to try out new recipes for him and bought me my very first ever cooking books.
My church family, Out for Christ International Ministries Incorporating Living Word Churches International, that continues to pray for me and cover me. My family and friends who believe in me and cheer me on.
